Brandy Victoria is a playwright whose work centers Black women navigating pivotal moments of self-discovery, resistance, and transformation. Her plays have been produced at Southern Repertory Theatre of Louisiana, Little Theatre of Alexandria, Obsidian Theatre Festival of Detroit, Barter Theatre, and Abingdon Theatre Company, with staged readings at the Fade to Black Reading Series and beyond. In 2023, Brandy was named a Hurston/Wright Foundation Fellow and featured as a playwright in Obsidian: Literature and Arts in the African Diaspora, published by Illinois State University.

Her work explores the intersections of race, gender, sexuality, and class through dark humor and unflinching emotional honesty, bringing visibility to asexual, neurodivergent, and working-class Black women’s experiences. A graduate of Temple University with degrees in Film and African-American Studies, Brandy has also contributed theatre criticism to DC Theatre Scene and Maryland Theatre Guide. When not writing, she enjoys traveling, thrill-seeking, visiting museums, reading, and spoiling her chihuahua, PJ.
